H1b Visa - Travelling outside USA- Do we need to carry petition

Hi,

I am on my first H1b , valid for 3 years, expiring in Sep 2015. I plan to travel to UAE for a couple of days. My questions is do we need to carry our original H1b petition everytime we travel outside USA ?

You need not if you have valid stamping on your passport. But it doesn’t hurt to carry it with you either
