Hi,
Currently I am in US and my H1B Visa stamping is scheduled on April 27 2023 for which I need to travel to India. But my passport is expiring on Feb 2024 therefore in this case Am I still eligible for Visa stamping with my current passport since at the time of Stamping the Passport will be expiring < 1 year.
- Do I need to renew my Passport first?
Even if I plan to renew my Passport in US, I won’t be eligible to renew before 1 year i.e only eligible after Feb 2023 to renew passport. I don’t want to take chances and wanted to go stamping on old passport.
Please suggest or if anyone has gone through similar situation.
