H1b visa stamping with 6 month remaining on I797

Hi, My stampin- h1b drop box is on october 19 2022. My I 797 is valid till March 30th 2023. It would fine to travel to India with only 5.5 month remaining in it? Kindly advise.

Yes this is fine. You will get visa valid till your I-797 validity and same for the I-94 when you enter the US. You will need to file extension of status before the I-94 expires on March 2023.
