I am an Indian Citizen working in Singapore on an Employment Permit after completing my Masters at Singapore. I have a US Company willing to sponsor my H1B. Since I am at Singapore, I can attend the Visa Interview from here or from India.
I read on redbus2us that 6800 H1B visas are set apart for Singapore and Chile trade agreemnt. I would like to know if attending the interview in Singapore would place me in the 6800 slots or in the 20,000 Masters H1B quota.
Also,is it easier to get it stamped in Singapore?
