Recently I got my H1B visa extension approved but my wife’s H4 visa extension is still pending with USCIS. It’s been 3 weeks since I got my approval notice. I like to invite my in laws on a Visitor visa to US and I will be their sponser. My wife’s current passport have stamping till May 15th 2017. So can I go ahead and proceed in applying for a visitor visa to my in laws ? Or do I need to wait till my wife’s H4 extension gets approved?
