With all the changes to the US H1B Visa renewal process and Canada’s renewal and expansion of the Global Talent Stream [GTS] , part of the Global Skills Strategy [GSS] - I have a couple of questions for those people currently on a H1B Visa in a technical capacity:

  1. Would you consider Canada for long term permanent opportunities for yourself and family to settle?

  2. What information would you AND your family need to make the decision to make the move (relocation to Canada)?

  3. What platform are you most likely to use for networking/exchanging information and conversing with a Canadian based advisor/partner?

It all boils down to stability, less visa hassles and income…If Canada can provide these three, then it is great choice. It is mostly with colleagues and online forums.
