I attended h1b visa renewal interview on Feb 25. It went to administrative processing (always get 221g coz of my degree). Chennai Embassy closed March during lockdown. Our passports are with them since then. There are some exceptions in the EO now that qualify me for visa.
But I’m not sure what I should do. I have emailed them twice with no response. Don’t know if I should get another emergency appointment. That would mean, we pay fee again? Should my wife also attend? How can we do that without passports?
