H1b transfer while I94 expires in 1 week

My I94 extension is applied and pending right now with USCIS. In the mean time if I would like to get my H1b transfered to another company, what are the risk factors I may come accross?

My I94 expiring in next 7 days and currently my LCA is waiting approval for the new employer.

Please suggest accordingly.

If H-1 transfer is filed prior to I-94 expiration date, then you are fine.

However, if H-1 transfer is applied after I-94 expires, then H-1 transfer’s approval would depend upon I-94 extension approval (bridge scenario).
