H1B transfer to different company even before H1B petition is filed by original company after being picked in the lottery

Hello,

I applied to multiple companies to put my application for the H1B lottery pool. I was luckily picked by the company I’m actually currently working for. But I want to transfer to a different company even before my original company files for the H1B petition (This is after I receive the H1B LCA). My question is can I even do that, or should I wait to work in my original company for a few more months, get my H1B petition approved, receive my H1B visa card, and then apply for transfer to the new company. Please let me know.
