H1B Transfer for cap exempt

I worked in US (Chicago) from Feb 08 to May 09 on H1B Visa for the Walgreens.H1b Visa was expired in May 2009 .However it was not utilised fully as I was staying in US for 14 Months. As per my understanding H1 B is cap exempted it can be used for inter company transfer and extension.

Is that visa can be used for transfer till 2015 how will I look for H1 B Transfer
