H1B transfer - approved / rejected related question

I am on H1B status since two years and it expires in Nov 2016. A big IT company is willing to get my H1 transferred. I have already once got my H1 transferred in 2014.

If H1 transfer is approved how much validity / date extension can I expect?
If H1 transfer is rejected can I continue to work with my current employer?
After the H1 transfer is approved if I travel to India do I have to go for stamping in India?

Validity date depends on date requested by employer on LCA.

Unless your present employer revokes your H1, you can continue to work

You will need to go for stamping - but sometimes you may not need to go for interview again and can avail dropbox
