If some one is terminated while in H1B status .How soon he has to get offer or file h1b transfer so that he is not considered out of status .?
Also if gets an employment offer but there is a delay in filing in H1B transfer ,is he considered in status and has right to stay in US?
Technically you are immediately out of status. Realistically if you start working again around 30 days you should be fine. Theres a lot of grey areas here quite frankly and I do know one person who was out of status for 45 days and did not have a problem. 180 days is a hard limit though.
