Ok, I am trying to understand the stamping process for myself.

  1. I have a approved I797 and I can go to any consulate for stamping?

  2. I previously travelled back to India on and was in US on H-1B, do i still need stamping?

  3. Everytime I travel on H1B to india, stamping is necessary to re-enter US?

  2. Has that visa stamp expired or canceled?

  3. As long as you have a previously approved unexpired visa stamp, no new visa stamping is required.
