Can someone help me with this query.I am already holding a LI B which is valid till 2018. If I am going for stamping in Canada for 1st time H1B and get 221g, can I still get the passport back in hand and travel back to US till they complete the admin processing.
Both are independent. One does not affect the other.

If your L1B visa is still valid, you can travel.
