H1B stamping from Monterrey - Mexico

Hi All,

My H1B Petition got approved on Dec 10th 2012. Due to project assignment I travelled to Monterrey - Mexico and currently residing. My employer suggesting me and my family to go to H1B and H4B stamping from Monterrey - Mexico. I have blanket client invitation letter ie not my name in the letter and MSA.

Please suggest can i go for Visa Stamping from Monterrey or in India.

It does not really matter, it depends on your case.

Call the US consulate there and ask about your case. Different consulate locations have different policies on TCNs (third country national). As you are residing in MX, it should be fine to attend it there.
