H1B Stamping after changing employers , I140 with new employer not done yet

Hello Folks ,

My I140 was approved with Employer A, in 2012. In 2019 , I switched to Employer B , and they haven’t started my GC yet. I plan on traveling to India soon , and would have to also get H1B visa stamping done, my I94 with Employer B is valid till 2022.

My questions is , for H1B Visa stamping with new Employer B , should I have I140 with Employer B approved ?

Not necessary. Just carry the current approved I-140 and you can say that the company plans to file it.
