No Saurabh. I know it is very premature to ask this. I am filing for the third time (previous attempts missed in lottery). Considering that i clear lottery this time, would my petition be cleared by the VO, since my SOW is only till Dec 2016.
It would be officer’s discretion. If the officer has concerns about your employer’s financial health and immigration history, then they would approve it until Dec 2016. If they have no concerns, then they would approve it for a longer duration even though SOW ends in Dec 2016.
