H1B - Revoked - Stamping required for same employer as a rehire

Hi All,

I recently resigned my job in the US and moved to UK for a new employer.
My H1b visa stamping is valid till March 2023. Since I have resigned the job, my ex employer in the US has revoked my H1B.
Now, I have got an offer from the same ex employer and planning to move back to the US.
Since the visa is revoked, I understand, my ex employer has to recapture all the unused days and get a new I797 before I rejoin.

My Questions:

  1. If I am able to get the new I797 before my current H1b Visa expires (March 2023), can I travel to the US without a new visa stamp? Or do I need to get a fresh visa stamping in any case?

You can use your visa to travel and enter the US as long as it is valid, no need for new visa.

Thanks Kalpesh for the reply.
