H1B Renewal vs 3Years

Hi,

FYI I’m flying back to home country after completed 3years in US with H1B visa and I’m not will to come back to US immediately and i wanna time to spend in home country for next 1 or 2 years.

  1. Do I need to take an interview immediate after I reach home country? or I can take as per my wish?
  2. Will i face any issue if missed to renew my h1b?
    example: Today, I just landed in home country and will to go back after a few years? what i can do? to hold my rest of 3years.

  1. It does not matter…as you had H1 status, you can do cap exempt transfer in future and then go for stamping at that time.
