I will be graduating on December this year. I am pursuing Masters degree in Technology Leadership which is a programme of 36 credits (6 semesters). My OPT has already got approved and having my EAD in hand. However, I read somewhere and of which I am completely unaware that I need to fall into certain points criteria to meet the H1B status.
Is that true that I need to have total 12 points? I did my bachelor from home country which was a 2 yr pass course. I have more than 8 yrs of work experience in sales (not in US) and 1 yr of work experience as Google Adwords Specialist in the US for which I was employed under CPT. Is point criteria still exist? If so, does it effect Me? Any advise or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
