H1B Petition valid from ( 01-october 2013 to 14 June 2016 ). Getting expired without Stamping

Hi ,

I have a H1B Petition valid from ( 01-october 2013 to 14 June 2016 ).

I haven’t stamped yet because of some personal reason and project availability .

Now my concern is only 8 months left in my petition to expire .

In case it got expired without stamping then what will happen to my H1-B visa. Will it be totally wasted or this petition can be extended further.

If petition can be extended further please let me know the suitable procedure and when it can be done.

Please help me out in this .

You are cap-exempted for 6 years from 14 June 2016. You can recapture the H1 anytime in 6 years, you dont need to go thru lottery again. Find an employer who can sponsor H1 for you
