H1B petition filed in India. Can I attend Visa in Dublin?

Hi,

My H1B petition was picked last year and it was under RFE till Jan. It was approved in last week of Jan. I came to Ireland in same week on long term assignment and about to complete 2 months here. I am planning to attend interview from Dublin US consulate, but sponsoring company ( its a diff employer) is asking to attend interview from India to increase approval chances and avoid rejection. I have checked with US consulate help desk here , they told that I can attend. I have necessary IDs and local residence proofs. I am in confusion whether I can attend from here or has go back to India and attend from there.

Please look into my query and provide your suggestions. Thanks in advance!

A question has been asked as to why an international post is being used for visa application when you are not a citizen of that country. You will be okay with a Dublin application if your employer will not allow your travel out of Ireland just for a visa interview. Carry such a letter if you can.
