H1B Petition but has not received I797 yet

Hi Team,
I have received approval on my H1B petition on 30th April.I have not yet received I797.It has been 4 months.
My employer said they have already filled 2service requests but we have not received any Response.

Is this normal to have this much delay?
What should we do to inform USCIS?

Need help I am getting worried now,as my petition was for 2020 which took 1 year to approve and now this delay for i797

This is not normal. You can schedule online and visit closest USCIS field office to have an agent look into your case. They may be able to provide you with a copy of I-797 or put in a request internally to mail you the approval notice.

Thank you for response Kalpesh.I am based out of India.So in my case ,Employer (Applicant) or one from Immigration team can visit USCIS for I797?
My petition is processed at Vermont.

Yes, your employer can request USCIS for the notice copy.
