H1B petition amendment for petition before visa stamping

Hi,

My H1B petition is expiring on 06th April, 2014. I went for a visa stamping at US Embassy-London and given a 221g slip. For the 221g slip i am requested to submit my new LCA and H1B Notification letter (for change in client location).

As i have only 3 more months for my petition to expire, can i apply for an amendment in petition along with 221 g response?

Any one can let me know how long will this H1B petition amendment process to extend the same will take?

Even I am also in the same situation. I guess “amendment” in your case now is to let USCIS know about your new client and the location. Once approved, you will still be with the old validity.

Later you might need to appy for H1 extension.
