H1b + H4 Extensions along with H-4 EAD

Hi all, I am having a situation where my wife came to USA on H4 visa. Our extensions are due for Sept 2025. I am having my i-140 approved and thus I am plannning to wait for EAD application to be bundled with my H-1b and H4 extension packet.
My question:

  1. Will USCIS accept H4-EAD in the bundle, but approve all the dates from Sept 2025? This will mean that even if we get EAD early, then we will still have to wait until Sept or the start date of EAD.
  2. Can i specify USCIS somehow to approve our visa extensions from Sept 2025, but approve EAD with the date mentioned on form.

USCIS will approve EAD based on the start date on I-765 form provided your I-140 is approved before the start date so that H4 is eligible for the EAD.
