H1b for HR Executive/ IT Recruiter

Hi,

I am currently living in US & from Non IT background.

Following is my my Educational background:

: Bachelors in commerce from India

: MBA (Finance & Marketing) from India

Work Experience:

Worked as HR executive for 2 and half year in India. Got a job in US as IT recruiter, but it is a small staffing agency so they don’t file H1b. Am I eligible to file H1b for coming year?

Any answer would be appreciated.

Your education meets the H1B criteria. You have to present need and niche evidence when applying for H1B as a recruiter (staffing specialist) because an RFE will be triggered that asks why you should be considered over a US person. Develop your application carefully.
