H1B filing location different than current location

Hello,

I currently work at location A for an employer. However, I’m required to move to a different location (B).
For this reason, the proposed worksite location for my H1B filing has been mentioned as Location B. I suppose I have to move to the new location if my H1B nomination gets selected in the lottery. I wanted guidance on when should the move to the new location (B) take place. When do I have to start working at Location B so that there are no problems with the filing.

Thank you!

Usually, before you move, the employer has to file LCA and then move. The attorney needs to file amendment as needed and then only move. Discuss with your attorney and plan it accordingly.
