H1B extension in 6th year after 5.5 years of stay

Hi,

I will be completing 5.5 years of U.S stay in H1B by June 2013. Am I eligible for applying H1B extension for another 6 months ?

Yes, you can apply for extension for a period such that total time spent inside US is 6 years. Time spent outside US in b/w doesn’t count.
