H1B extension and location change amendment

I’m currently on H1B and my status is going to expire on Oct 10th 2024. I work from home and I recently moved to a new place which is outside the MSA of the old place(my previous work location which is registered with USCIS). My employer is in the process of filing an H1B extension for me and the employer also got the LCA certified for the new work location.

My question is can my employer give the new work location in the H1B extension application or do they have to file another petition just for the location amendment?

If you are applying for extension now then your employer dont need to file amendment, instead just mention new location in the extension of status with the LCA.
