H1B Expired- Picked in 2008 not gone for stamping. Renewel Possible?

Hi,

My H1B was Picked in 2008, due to recession I have decided not to go for stamping. My H1B is expired in 2011.

Is there any possibility that I can Renew my old H1B?

You can use the previously approved petition and get the employer to file for a new H1 which won’t be counted in the cap again. And you do not need to wait till April '13 for filing.
