I have a MS degree from US and got the H1B approved last month. Now, my company wants to send me on a 1.5 yr expat assignment and I will be returning to the US for two weeks in every two months. Will the H1B visa status get in trouble? please let me know

Well, you may not have issues with H1B visa…The trick is where would you be tax resident ? Also, will your employer continue to pay you in US ? There could be tax implications, if you stay longer in another country…
I would suggest you discuss with your attorney and tax team to be clear…
