My application reached USCIS on 6th June. While waiting for receipt number, i came to know that we sent a cheque with excess amount and it is denied now.
Can you please let me know what is the best way to get the visa for this year.

There is no way you can be eligible to be part of the cap for 2013 .
The rule says :
It is your responsibility to ensure that Form I-129 is completed accurately. Failure to complete Form I-129 with the correct information and provide the required fees or documentation may result in the rejection or denial of the H-1B petition
And you will lose your filing date, and not be in the que.
