This is reg H1b - Could some one clearly explain the process of Lottery. I have some knoledge still, like to hear from experts…

  1. Advanced degree petitions will be selected thru lottery first to select 20K applications.

  2. Remaining advanced dgree petitions will be put into lottery along with regular quota to select 65K. So masters/advanced degree people get two chances.
