Hi Saurabh, I am working through a consultant and got 1 more year remaining on my H1b visa. My consultant has started the process for GC and applied for PERM labor in April. Now I have a good offer from another employer and would like to join this new employer. But is it advisable now to join new employer and start GC process again when I have only 1 year left on my H1b Visa?
You will have to check w/ new employer when they plan to file PERM for you. As there is pre-work prior to PERM filing, you may not have enough time in your hand. However, the new employer and their attorney can guide you on their timings.
