I am a H1B employee started working in Texas and now i am working in NewYork and my ammendment is not filed yet to reflect the location change. For some Personal work i am planning to go to my country for 2 weeks . Shall i travel without filing the ammendment, Is there any complications if i travel whithout updated I94 document .I have my H1B valid till Feb 2024. Could anyone give me suggestion for me
Is it a typo with your H1B validity date?
Ideally your employer should have filed amendment before starting to work at a new location.
At this point I recommend to discuss your situation with your employer’s immigration lawyer.
