Hi , I am currently on H4EAD and got a good offer from another company on the same H4EAD. But my current employer filed for H1B as Change of Status which got approved on 1st Dec 2020.
I would like to stay on H4 EAD and do not want to move to H1B . Can you guide me what my options are.
Your options are to exit the country and enter US on H4 again. This way you are back on H4 status. Now, since December 1st, you are on H1B status.
