H1B approved petition going to expire in Feb-2018.Want to go to stamping in early Jan 2018

Hi,

My H1B approved petition is going to expire on Feb19th, 2018.Want to go for stamping in early Jan 2018.

We have only 1.5 months left. Actually, I am going to work on an in-house project.

Am I eligible for stamping? or Is it the right time to go for stamping?

Please provide your suggestions. It will help to take the decision on my stamping.
