My H1B petition was approved in 2nd week of September 2013. The approval notice which my attorney has received has incorrect name under First name column. Hence, she has raised a request with USCIS to correct this mistake. It is almost 2 months there is no update from USCIS.
Can any one tell me how much time does it take for processing a correction request on Approval notice with USCIS ?
Also, does the US Shutdown effect could have delayed or slow down the process ?
Is there any tracking system to get the status on correction request ?
