Hi,

I have got my H1B petition approved on Jan 2012 and my petition is valid until June 2014. Right now i am in UK and planning to go for visa stamping during jan 2013 when i visit India.

  1. What is the maximum date i can go for visa stamping since my petition is valid until June 2014?

  2. Is it better to go for visa stamping in India ar at UK?

  3. If its too late from the date of petition approval and visa stamping what is the probabilty of getting the visa stamped succesfully without rejection?

  1. Its always better to do the stamping atleast 6 months from the H1B validity end date.

    1. Its always better to go for stamping in your home country.

    2. Whenever you go for stamping, make sure that you have latest job offer letter, client letter, etc. Successful VISA stamping depends on your case where the consulate will verify the employee-employer relationship, stability of your employer, etc.
