Hi,

My H1B amendment and extension were filed together last year before I94 expiration and is waiting for the response.

  1. Will the 240 day rule is applicable after which I need to stop working?

  2. Can I continue working after 240 days?

Normally H1B extension and amendment are filed together. You should not work beyond the 240 days because that is considered illegal and you can get into trouble.
