H1B Amendment after joining - Attorney mistake?

My employer filed H1B for an LCA for location A (his mistake). I joined Location B.

I’m i140 approved with i94 valid till May 2020.

After 30 days of start I found that my LCA is of location A and asked my employer about it. Lawyer accepted their mistake and started preparing H1B amendment.

Anyone been in this situation? What did your attorney suggested.

These things happen. There is not much you can. One of the things you can do is take time off and not work until the amendment is approved, that’s an option…But, again discuss with your employer…
