Hello Experts,

Herewith, I need to have some important information about my H1b. I’m selected in the lottery for 2025 & petition files on 29th Jun 2024.

1. If my H1b petition is approved, should I book visa appointment dates for me & my family jointly for H4b (Spouse, Son & Daughter), or 1st I need to go alone? My son is 6 years old & daughter is 3 years old.
2. Upon getting visa approval, if a USA client accepts my employment offsite (Remote Job from INDIA), why H1b is required? This can be done without applying for H1b also.
3. Some of the well-known Indian IT Companies have offices in the USA. In such a situation, should I approach them locally stating my approved H1b visa & request to provide employment onsite in the USA?

Your H1B status kicks in only when you enter the US. You need to be physically presentvin the US to work on H1B status.
