H1 Transfer + Petition and pay stubs have different employer names.

Hi,

I am on H1 B visa and I am trying to transfer my H1. The name of my employer is different on my petition and my pay stubs as my employer overtook an existing company in US. My petition has the name of the company, my employer took over. Now I need some proof to acknowledge both are same company. Please suggest how that can be done.

Ask your employer for some document to show that A was taken over by B. A press release, an internal memo etc. that shows that even though payslip was from A, it is actually part of B.
