I am still waiting for approval of my H1b f0r 2017 quota.
My question is if I get approval by Aug 10th 2016 from a company “A”.
Can a company “B” apply for my H1b in case exempt category, or can I get transferred my H1b to “B” company before Oct 1st.
I have read mixed opinion about this. Some say it is possible, while others says not.
I would suggest start searching for employers once your petition is approved and ask their attorney. If they agree, they can apply ASAP.
I am in the same boat (exact same situation). Would really appreciate if you can update once you get some concrete answer.
