I have a H1B valid till June 8th 2018. I am in the process to requesting COS to H4 with a future date of June 1 2018.I had a question around maintaining my status before June 1. As per the law, I should absolutely stop working on June 1 since that is the day my status of H4 will be initiated. However, I have 4 days of floating holidays with my current employer. Can I still have my end date as June 4 if I take the last few days as floaters and not working? Or will my last date of work as the day my status was valid?
