H1 Interview Process and Questions asked

Hi Folks,

I’ve got my work petition approved. And now I’ve to start the process for stamping.

I have a few queries -

a. Is the H1 interview very tough?

b. Is there a source material for what kinds of questions they ask during interview?

c. What are the chances/conversion rate at the interview stage?

a. It is not as long as the petition is filed by proper company and you have right information related to your job and everything.

c. I would say very high. There is a good 85 to 90% conversio rate.

Sorry man, took a long time to reply. But thanks, I have finally managed to convince my employer to setup interview and I have my interview in Mumbai in third week of Feb and I hope to clear it.

I have a question and hoping if you could answer it, I am currently on H-1B Visa and visiting India for H-1B renewal/extension. Thus, I am eligible for the Dropbox/Interview waiver option. However, somehow I accidentally booked the appointment for Consular (In-person interview) and VAC. If I cancel my existing appointments, will I be able to select the right option of Dropbox? Also, are you aware if there will be any consequences if I appear for in-person interview even though I was eligible for Dropbox?
