H1 Extension : Applied on 07/19/14
I might end up travelling to India for 2 weeks for an unavoidable situation.
INDIA TRAVEL DATE (LIKELY) : AUG 15 - AUG 30
Queries:

Can I travel when my H1 extension (normal processing) is pending?

If H1 extension gets approved before that, Can I travel with old visa stamp and approved H1-extension document. This is incase POE officer asks a question on the Visa getting expire din 2 months.

My spouse is on H4 and will she run in to out of status if I travel alone.

Do I need to reapply for extension after I come back…meaning will this pending extension get voided when I travel.
