H1 B I 94 Extensions - Prevailing wage revised

Hi all,

2013 Prevailing wage for computer programmer is revised from July. My employer says that my wages is not matching with revised salary from July. So they cannot do I 94 Extension for the same. So my employer advised me to go to the location where the role and salary is matching and then post lca to the same location where Iam working right now with low wage. Is that possible??

Yes it is possible.

You can relocate to a different location, have LCA filed for that location followed by H-1 amendment.

As a side note, it seems your employer doesn’t want to give you a raise but wants to move you to a lower pay area.
