H1 B approved today while i work on L1 in US

Hi,

I am working on L1 visa in US now, however parallely i applied for H1B visa from one consultancy,which got approved today (11th dec 2013).

My last day in current company in US is 20th dec 2013. Is it legal to continue work for another 9 days on L1 with them, after which i can start working on H1B.

Please reply at the earliest.

Yes, it is perfectly fine.

Only thing to remember is parallel pay stubs. You have all the rights to work for H1 employer from whenever you want.
