H1 approved has opt extension till dec 2013 can i travel to India

your suggestionnisbgreatly appreciated .

H1 got approved inn April and has opt extension till dec 2013 can i travel to India and come before Oct on Ead or do I need to go for stamping ?

Please advice

I assume your COS was approved w/ H-1.

So you can return on F-1/OPT and still be on H-1 from Oct 1 based on previously approved COS.

Talk to your attorney as well about this.
